Workforce Collective supports adult education and skills upgrading through Literacy Link Niagara, our local non-profit learning network.

There are 10 literacy and basic skills programs in our network. Our programs are free and accessible. They support adults to reach their goals for education (high school, college or job-related training), employment and lifelong learning.

Literacy goes beyond reading and writing. Literacy means having the knowledge and skills to succeed in tasks like applying math in real-life situations (numeracy), managing money (financial literacy), and keeping up with changes in technology (digital literacy).

Our programs also develop workplace literacy— employability skills such as communication, time management and problem-solving.
