We’re promoting a holistic model of support and service delivery within our network. Learners benefit from a team of supporters who encourage them to successfully complete their programs and achieve their goals.

Circles of Support uses the WrapAround approach. Wraparound is an effective planning process that is person-centered and adapted to individuals’ needs, values and goal-paths. Through WrapAround, learners are better supported with focused help from friends, family, and staff in services related to education, employment, social assistance (and beyond!)

Clear Communication Workshop

Build better programs and services using plain language, active listening, and people-centered communication.

This workshop expands upon Clear Writing (aka “plain language”) principles that can help improve your overall communication. Communication is in plain language if its wording, structure, and design are so clear that the intended audience can easily find what they need, understand what they find, and use that information.

Clear Communication training can help you:

  • Attract clients and customers
  • Reduce confusion
  • Prevent accidents
  • Improve accessibility

Consider taking this workshop if you:

  • Serve customers or work with people
  • Use email
  • Develop presentations or marketing materials
  • Create internal documents like policies and procedures

1.5-2 hour workshops for groups of less than 10 people start at $350. Special rate available for non-profit organizations.

Testimonials

  • The workshop was well received with all of our staff
looking forward to implementing into their
professional and personal communications. Clear Writing is a fantastic resource to help avoid any miscommunications when speaking
with clients, staff and the general public.

  • The Clear Writing Workshop helped me to better structure the different ways I communicate and deliver information.  From emails to reports, this workshop taught me new ways to present and organize the message in a way that is easier (and quicker) to understand.
