Workforce Collective is home to Niagara’s Immigrant Employment Council. We’re part of a national Network of Immigrant Employment Councils that offers solutions, tools and resources to help employers attract, hire, train and retain newcomer talent.
We help employers – business owners, HR personnel and people leaders:
- connect with newcomers who are seeking jobs through the local service providers that support them and
- become the best workplaces they can be for the workforce of incoming new Canadians and everyone else adapting to a more globalized world.

Strengthening Employer Feedback Channels
We’re hosting regular forums to explore challenges & solutions related to immigrant employment. This project is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and engages employers and other system actors to better integrate newcomers and immigrants into our local/national workforce. Employer Voices: Shaping the Future of Immigration and Workforce Integration
Employers play a key role in shaping inclusive and responsive immigrant employment strategies. Through the Strengthening Employer Feedback Channels (SEFC) – Employer Voices video series, we spotlight local employer voices and their real-world contributions to immigrant workforce integration.
These stories reflect the value of employer engagement in structured, intentional feedback channels and their role in co-designing solutions that drive meaningful policy and systems change.
Developed in collaboration with the Immigrant Employment Councils of Canada (IECC) Network, this series underscores the collective effort of employers and immigrant employment councils across the country to shape solutions that strengthen recruitment, hiring, and retention of skilled immigrant talent.
