Employer One is an annual online survey focused on the demand side of the local labour market. Employers throughout Niagara complete the survey in order to compile data on workforce issues ranging from labour availability, to job availability and classification, to skills demand, and more.
The purpose of this survey is to help job seekers understand what local employers are looking for in their new hires. It helps provide answers to questions such as:
- What are the interpersonal skills that will make a person stand out in an interview?
- What are the emerging technical skills that employers value?
- How much experience is the average Niagara employer looking for?
