Connecting in Community

For several years, NWPB facilitated a mentorship program, known as the Niagara Immigrant Connections Initiative, which supported newcomers and employers to connect, grow their networks and learn about work within a diverse, Canadian context. While we no longer lead this program, we are reflecting on the learning and evaluating our role within the immigrant employment ecosystem.

We also provide several jobseeking tools here on our website, including our local job board, to help newcomers find work in Niagara. Additionally, we maintain strong relationships with our local Employment Ontario partners, who can provide further personal guidance to new immigrants as they integrate into the community and workforce.
